We were approached by Fexco to design a new innovative space within the company. Their key parameters for space was a collaborative area, encourage open conversations and as a talking point for the rest of the building.
Fexco
Fexco wanted to create an area that would encourage innovative thinking and collaboration.
We wanted to transform the area into both a meeting zone for collaboration and a functional meeting room.
This space was aimed at increasing collaboration and making an open inclusive space for everyone. We loved the idea they were going with and set out to transform the current meeting room they had. In order to do this, we first took a lot of sample images from the current meeting room. We then planned out the redesign and got to work creating the space in our 3D software (blender). Once we had our first concepts created, we got feedback from Fexco and adjusted our design requirements. After some final tweaks we were able to present back a final version of what the new innovative space would look like and how it would function.
1. Capturing current meeting room area
2. Designing the 3D bones of the area
3. Texturing and detailing the space
4. Rendering high resolution images of the new space
5. Handing over design concepts and renders to Fexco
It was a great experience getting to design for Fexco and making an area that will bring its employees together and hopefully inspire some great innovative ideas for the company. This was also the first time we had designed any architecture pieces so it was a good learning curve to go through. We hope to create more projects like this in the future. Creating innovative and inclusive spaces for everyone will benefit a lot of companies. As people who have been in a lot of different corporate environments, it's always fantastic to see companies taking an interest in their employees workplace environment.
